Velanakanni School

Velanakanni School has been here on Mangadu Road for quite some time now. Most people around Mangad know where we are, right near the main road in Kollam. We mostly focus on getting the kids through their daily lessons and making sure they have a safe place to learn. The building isn't fancy, but it does the job for the families living nearby. Mornings are usually pretty loud when the buses arrive, but that is just how it goes with a school. We have a small playground and some classrooms that stay busy from morning until the afternoon bell rings. It's just a regular local school trying to help the neighborhood kids get an education without too much fuss. Teachers here are local folks too, so everyone kind of knows each other. We don't have big billboards or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth or because they live just down the street. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We just keep things running day to day. If you walk past Mangadu Road, you’ll see our gate and the kids playing during their break. It is a simple setup we've got here, and we just stick to our routine. There isn't much more to it than that, really. Just a school doing its part in the 691015 area.
