Amrita Vidyalaya

Amrita Vidyalaya is located in Peroor, which is a quiet area surrounded by a lot of trees and open space. The school is a bit away from the main hustle and bustle, so it’s a calm place for the kids to spend their day. We have a few buildings on the property, and they’re all pretty simple in design. There’s a lot of red soil around, and it can get a bit muddy when the monsoons come, but we manage. We don’t have any big flashy signs or expensive decorations on the walls. The classrooms are basic, with wooden desks and benches that have been around for years. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the students follow their routine. Most of our staff comes from the nearby villages, and they know the families well. It’s a very community-focused kind of place to work. We don’t have a marketing budget or any fancy websites. People usually hear about us through word of mouth from other parents. During the breaks, you can see the kids playing in the open areas under the shade of the trees. It’s a very natural setting. We try to keep things humble and focus on the work at hand. There’s no pressure to be the most modern school in the state; we just want to be a reliable one for the local people in Peroor. It’s a simple life for us.
