Pvk Bricks

At Pvk Bricks, we are based in Iverkala, right near the Puthenampalam Post Office. Being in the Kollam district means we deal with a lot of rain throughout the year. When it rains, everything slows down and we have to make sure the bricks are covered up properly so they don't get ruined. The yard is tucked away in a quiet corner of the village. It is a lot of physical labor, day in and day out. We have a small crew of people from the local area who help us out. The post office is a good point for people to find us since the roads in Iverkala can be a bit confusing for those who don't live here. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It is just a yard with stacks of bricks and some basic equipment. The ground gets muddy during the monsoon, and we spend a lot of time cleaning up. We try to keep things organized, but in this line of work, there is always a bit of a mess somewhere. We sit outside mostly, watching the trucks come down the narrow road to fetch the loads. Life moves a bit slower here than it does in the big cities, and we are fine with that. It is just a regular brick yard in a small part of Kerala. We just keep the piles growing and the trucks moving as best as we can.
