Gangadevi Hollow Bricks Inter Lock Site

Our site is located near the post office in Kollam, right by Saverak House. We focus on making hollow bricks and those interlocking tiles people use for their driveways. It is a lot of work with the press and the sand. The yard is usually full of rows of bricks drying out. We have to be careful about the humidity here because it can mess with how things set. It is a local operation and we know most of the people who come by to buy from us. We do not have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It is just us working in the yard and handling the orders as they come in. Sometimes we get a big order for a whole house and everyone has to work extra hours to get it finished. Other times it is just a neighbor wanting a few tiles for a path. We do not mind either way. The work is physical and you are usually covered in sand and dust. We like being in this part of Kollam. It is where we live and where we work. We do not use any fancy sales tactics. People come, they look at how the bricks are made, and they decide for themselves. It has been our way of doing things for a long time. There is always a lot of sweeping to do at the end of the day.
