Aswathy Bricks

Aswathy Bricks is located at number 78 in Eravipuram. We’ve been in this neighborhood for quite some time now, and most of our neighbors have used our bricks for something or other over the years. The yard isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. It’s usually piled high with red blocks. My father started this place, and now I handle the daily operations with some help from a couple of cousins. We spend a lot of time outside, which means we are pretty much always tanned and covered in a bit of mud. Eravipuram is a nice place to work, though it can get pretty humid being where it is. We don't do any big advertising or anything fancy. People just know that if they need some bricks for a garden wall or a house extension, they can come by and see what we have in stock. We usually have a bit of a backlog, so things are rarely quiet around here. The sound of the truck engine idling is a common background noise at our gate. We drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when we aren't loading. It’s a straightforward business, and we just take it one day at a time, making sure we get the work done right without any extra polish or unnecessary complications.
