Omega Bricks

Omega Bricks is based out on Kottiyam Road in Mayyanad. It is a busy stretch of road and we have been here for some time now. Making bricks is what we do, and it is a messy job but someone has to do it. The sun gets really hot on the yard, but the work doesn't stop. People from Mayyanad come by when they are building something new or fixing a wall. We aren't a massive factory with machines doing everything. It is more about getting the mix right and making sure the firing goes okay. Some days are harder than others, especially when the humidity is high. We keep the stacks of bricks ready for whoever needs them. It is just a straightforward business, no need for anything complicated. Kottiyam Road sees a lot of traffic, so we are easy to spot if you are looking for us. We try to keep things organized, though with bricks and dirt, it is hard to stay perfectly clean. Our regulars know how we operate. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. Just a simple gate and the work area behind it. It is what we know. The local guys help out and we just keep the cycle going. It is a decent living and keeps us tied to the community here in Mayyanad. We just do the work day after day.
