Zeern Foods Private Limited

We set up Zeern Foods Private Limited over in West Chowbhaga. It’s in the Tiljala area, near the Anandapur police station. If you know Kolkata, you know this part of town is always moving. Our building is B/13 and it’s where we spend most of our time. The street outside can get pretty loud with all the rickshaws and people walking by to the post office. Inside, we keep things simple. We don't have any big corporate offices or fancy waiting rooms. It is mostly just work tables and storage. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a short walk to get here in the mornings. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is slow, but that is just how it is around here. We handle the food stuff with care because that is the whole point of being here. It is not always easy work, especially when it gets hot in the summer. We keep the fans running and just keep moving. We talk about our families while we work and sometimes share lunch. It feels more like a small community than a big company. We keep our records in a small desk in the corner. People stop by sometimes to ask what we are making. We just tell them we are working. It’s a basic setup but it works for us. We try to stay out of the way of the main road traffic.
