Our place is out in Rajarhat, specifically in the Langolpota area of Mouza Khamar Bishnupur. It’s a bit further out than the main city parts, which is nice because it’s a lot quieter than being in the middle of everything. We focus on the resort side of things. It’s a lot of land to look after. We spend most of our time outside or in the small office we set up. The name Yurts Resort comes from the kind of vibe we wanted, something a bit different for people. It’s not a fancy hotel with elevators and glass doors. We have to deal with the grass growing too fast and the local insects, but that's part of being out here. The road to get here is still being worked on in some spots, so it can be bumpy. We’re just a small team trying to make it work. Some days we're painting fences, other days we're doing the accounts. It’s a lot of physical work compared to an office job in the city. We don't have a big fancy website with professional photos. What you see is what you get. We're just local people trying to build something in this part of town. It’s been a bit of a struggle getting everything set up, but we’re open now. We aren't trying to be some five-star place. We just want a spot where people can come and stay for a bit.
