Hotel Trimoorti

Down at 24 Ray Street, you will find Hotel Trimoorti. It is an old building that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. We spend our days at the front desk or checking the rooms to make sure everything is in place for whoever is coming next. Ray Street is a busy enough spot, so there is usually some noise from the cars and rickshaws outside, but it feels like home to us. We do not have those fancy uniforms or a lobby that looks like a museum. It is just a place to sleep and keep your bags while you are visiting the city. The stairs are a bit steep, and the lift makes a funny noise sometimes, but it gets the job done. In the mornings, there is the smell of tea and breakfast coming from the small kitchen area. We know the regular guests who stay here every time they visit for their business. Most of the time, we are just busy with the laundry or answering the phone. It is a simple operation. We do not try to be something we are not. If a bulb goes out, we change it ourselves. If someone needs directions to the main road, we just point them the right way. It is a practical way to run a business. We like the pace of things here, even when it gets a bit hectic during the festival seasons.
