If you walk down Convent Lane, you will find us at number 4/H/7. Yasin Trader is basically just a small setup where we buy and sell whatever is in demand at the time. The lane is quite narrow, so when a delivery comes, it can be a bit of a squeeze to get everything inside. I usually spend my time keeping track of the inventory and talking to the suppliers. It is not a very complicated business, but it keeps me on my toes. There are days when it is very quiet and I just sit by the door watching the neighborhood kids play or the neighbors go about their shopping. Other days, it is absolute chaos with everyone wanting something at once. The shop is filled with various items, and sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. My father started this sort of thing, and I just kept it going. We don't have a website or any of that new stuff. People just know we are here. If someone needs a particular item, they stop by and ask. If I don't have it, I usually know who does. It is a simple way of living. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they have stayed this way for years and it feels like home. It is just a regular local trade business run by people who live here.
