Xclusive Tutorial is tucked away in Room No 13 of Labony Market in Salt Lake City-Bidhan Nagar. It’s a small room, but it works for what we do. Being in the market means there is always something going on outside. You can hear the vendors and the people shopping while we are inside going over lessons. We are right near Tank No 1, which is a big landmark in this part of Kolkata 700064. If you know the tank, you can find the market pretty easily. The room itself is quite plain. We have some posters on the wall related to the subjects and enough chairs for the students to sit comfortably. It’s not a polished corporate space at all. It feels more like a workshop where we just get down to the business of studying. Sometimes the market gets really loud during the festivals, but the students are good at staying focused on their papers. We’ve been here for a while, and the other shopkeepers in Labony Market are all friendly with us. We get our snacks from the little stalls nearby during breaks. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we are here every day and we do our job. It’s a small, practical space for students who need a bit of extra help after their school hours are finished.
