Roy Tuition

Roy Tuition is based out of Block A 70 in Salt Lake City, Sector 4. We are quite close to the Rooster landmark, which most people in this part of Kolkata 700098 know well. This isn't a corporate tuition chain. It is a local spot where we teach students in small groups or one-on-one. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We usually have tea going in the back and the sound of pens scratching on paper. Salt Lake is a nice, planned area, so it’s usually easy for students to get here. We’ve been at this address for a good while. The rooms are filled with old stacks of papers and textbooks from various years. We don't worry about making things look perfect; we just want the teaching to be useful. If a student has a test coming up, we focus on that. If they are bored with a subject, we try to find a different way to talk about it. It’s just how we work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the kids in our neighborhood pass their exams and understand their subjects. Sometimes we stay late when someone is really struggling. It is just part of the job. Most of our students come from the nearby blocks. Word of mouth is how we get most of our work. It is a very local, very grounded kind of place to study.
