Piyali Chatterjee Classes

You can find our classes at Trishul Apartment on Rajarhat Road. We are in unit No. Ca/2. It’s right near the Rainbow Diagnostic center, which most people living in the 700059 area are familiar with. Piyali Chatterjee started this specifically to help out students in the building and the surrounding blocks. It’s not a massive institution by any stretch. We use a couple of rooms in the apartment to hold the teaching sessions. It’s a very personal setup. We know every single student by their first name and their family. We don't have any fancy banners or signs hanging outside. It’s a quiet residential area, so we try to keep the noise down out of respect. The classes are usually kept small. We find that students talk more and ask questions when there aren't thirty other people in the room with them. We just go through the school books and help out with the daily homework. Sometimes we do some extra practice for the final exams. There isn't a formal registration desk or a manager. You just come in and we talk about what the student is struggling with. It's a very straightforward and honest way of running things. Rajarhat Road is always busy, but once you step into Trishul Apartment, it feels much calmer. We’ve been here for several years now and have seen many kids grow up and move on to their college lives.
