Kishalaya Coaching Center

Our coaching center is located at Plot No. 5/32/1 in Shibtala. If you know where the 3 Stars Hotels are, we are right near there. It’s a decent spot in the 700052 area of Kolkata. We’ve been here for a long while. Kishalaya isn't a fancy name we picked out of a marketing book. It’s just what we decided to call the center years ago. The rooms are very basic. We have enough space for a small group of students at a time. We don’t like overcrowding the classes because then nobody really learns anything useful. It gets a bit busy around here with the hotels and the traffic, but it’s mostly quiet once you get inside the gates. We don’t have any fancy technology or computers, just the usual pens, paper, and textbooks. We focus entirely on the school syllabus. If a student brings a book, we go through it page by page until they get it. It’s honest, hard work. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help some local kids pass their exams. The building is just a regular house structure. You might even miss the sign if you aren't looking closely at the gate. We don't spend any money on decorations or painting. The money goes into keeping the lights on and the place clean. Most of our students live within walking distance of Shibtala. We see the same faces every day.
