Sunbeams Of Education

Sunbeams Of Education is our small place on Northern Avenue. We are right in Ghughudanga, not far from the post office. If you know the area, you have probably walked past our door at 26/3. It is a busy street but inside it is usually quiet enough to get work done. We have been here for a few years now, helping students with their daily lessons. We don't have a big reception area or shiny signs. It is just a couple of rooms with desks and chairs. We wanted to provide a place where kids could come and ask questions they were too shy to ask in their big school classes. We aren't trying to be a huge institution. We just like teaching and seeing the kids finally get a concept they were struggling with. The walls are a bit plain, and maybe we should paint them one day, but for now, they are covered in charts and maps. We use a lot of paper and pencils here. Nothing is digital. We think writing things down helps you remember the information better. Most of our students live within walking distance in the 700030 area. We know most of the parents by name because they stop by to chat when picking up their children in the evening. It is a very local, friendly kind of environment. We don't have strict rules, just that you have to do your work. It is a practical approach to education.
