Work Together India Foundation

Our office for Work Together India Foundation is over in Rahamat Nagar. If you know where Chabi More is in Burnpur, we are right near there. It is in the Hirapur area. Shahzad Sami is the one who keeps things moving here. We started this because we felt that people in our part of Burnpur needed a place they could go to when things got tough. It is not a fancy building by any means. It is just a practical space where we can sit down and talk. We get a lot of people stopping by from the neighborhood. Being near Chabi More means there is always someone passing through. We handle a lot of different requests, mostly things that involve getting people to collaborate. It is right there in our name. We think things work better when neighbors help neighbors. Our daily routine involves a lot of tea and even more conversation. We do not have a polished website or a big PR department. Most of what we do is just handled through local connections and hard work. Some days are louder than others, especially when the local market is busy. We just try to be a reliable presence in Rahamat Nagar. If someone has a problem, they usually know where to find us. We do not make big promises we cannot keep. We just do the work that needs doing, one day at a time, right here in Hirapur.
