Wesujata Microcare Foundation

Wesujata Microcare Foundation is located in the Barabagan area of Kolkata, right on Vidyasagar Sarani. We operate out of Sarbamangala Dutta’s place. It is a typical Kolkata neighborhood with narrow lanes and a lot of activity. We have been here for a while now, trying to help out with small-scale needs in the community. The pin code is 700063, if you are looking for us on a map. Our setup is quite humble. We do not have a big corporate office or a fleet of cars. It is just a dedicated space where we handle paperwork and talk to people who come by. Barabagan is a place where neighbors look out for each other, and we try to be a part of that. We deal with micro-level issues, hence the name. It is mostly about the small things that make a difference to a family or a local shop. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with everyone coming and going, but that is just how things are here. We do not use fancy jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We are just local residents who wanted to do something useful. Most of our days are spent listening to people and seeing where we can fit in. It is honest work, and we do not expect any prizes for it. We just want to keep the foundation running so we can continue being there for the folks on Vidyasagar Sarani.
