Vidushi Srivastav

My workspace is located over on Iron Side Road in Ballygunge, at number 14. I have been doing my work out of this spot for a good bit of time now. It is a fairly quiet street most of the time, which is really helpful when I need to get things finished. Being Vidushi Srivastav in such a large, bustling city means you have to find your own corner and just stay focused on what is in front of you. I do not have a massive office or a whole team of people running around and shouting. It is just me here, handling the tasks that come across my desk. Sometimes the traffic noise from the main roads drifts in, but mostly it is just the sound of my computer and the ceiling fan. I started doing this because I wanted something that felt like it belonged to me. People often ask what exactly I do, and I just tell them I take care of the business that needs doing. Ballygunge is a very busy area, but this specific street feels a little tucked away from the chaos. I spend a lot of my hours here, maybe more than I should. My desk usually has a few too many notes and empty tea cups sitting on it. I don't spend time on advertising or anything like that. People find me through friends or neighbors. It isn't about being some big company. It’s just about being here and working.
