Vidhya Sarathi

Vidhya Sarathi is located in the Ghosh Para area of Ganganagar, which is a fairly quiet part of this side of town. We set up this place because we wanted a spot where students could come without having to travel all the way into the main city. The building is a simple two-story structure and we use the ground floor for most of our activities. It's a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but the path is paved and there are plenty of trees along the way. Inside, we have some old desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We didn't spend much on decorations, so the walls are mostly bare except for a few old calendars and a clock that runs a few minutes fast. During the rainy season, the yard out front gets a bit muddy, so everyone has to leave their shoes at the door. It makes the place feel more like a home than a school. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make coffee and sometimes share snacks during the long afternoon sessions. It’s just a handful of us working here, trying to keep things running smoothly for the local families. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just open the doors every morning and do what needs to be done. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth kind of place.
