V-Sun Welfare Foundation

V-Sun Welfare Foundation is based out of Chandannagar, specifically in the 2no Mahadanga Colony. We run things from Kajal Kumar Nandy’s place. It is a regular neighborhood where everyone knows each other’s business. We are not trying to be some giant organization that nobody can reach. We are right here in the colony. Most of our work involves the people living nearby. Chandannagar has its own pace, and we try to match that. Some days are spent sorting through local requests, while other days we are out meeting folks in the street. It is not always organized perfectly, but we get the job done. We handle various tasks that help out the community here. If you walk down the lane, you will see our door. There are not any big signs or flashing lights. We just handle the day-to-day needs as they come up. Being part of this colony means we understand the struggles people face here every day. It is practical work. We do not spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements. Most people find out about us by word of mouth anyway. We keep our records in simple files and try to stay on top of the local needs. It is a small operation, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of the fabric of Chandannagar. It feels right to help out where we live. Every day is a bit different, but the goal is just to stay useful to the neighborhood.
