Unison Hotels Ltd- The Grand New Delhi

We work for Unison Hotels Ltd which is the company for The Grand in New Delhi. But our office is actually a long way from there. We are located at 122 Canal Street in Sreebhumi. We are in the Prankishore Apartment in Kolkata 700048. It is a bit unusual to be so far from the hotel itself but this is where we handle the back-end stuff. We sit in this apartment office and deal with all the administrative things that don't need to be done on-site. There is a lot of paper moving back and forth and we spend a lot of time on the computer. Canal Street can be very noisy with all the traffic and horns but we have gotten used to it over the years. The apartment isn't very large so we are all quite close to each other while we work. It feels more like a home than a big office building. We have our tea together and talk about the work that needs to be finished. We keep track of the accounts and the guest lists for the hotel in Delhi. Sometimes we wish we were at the hotel instead of in a flat in Kolkata but this is where the job is. We just try to get the numbers right and keep the files in order so the hotel can run smoothly. It is just a regular day-to-day routine for us here in Sreebhumi. We keep at it every day.
