You can find us over in Kumarpara, which is in the Kalanabagram area of Burdwan district. It’s a bit of a trek depending on where you are coming from, but this is where we do our business for Ultratech Cement Ltd. It is a quiet village area, which is a nice change from the big city bustle. We operate out of a modest building here. Mostly, we are just managing the cement distribution for this part of the district. There aren't many bells and whistles at our place. It’s just an office with desks, phones, and people who know the local roads well. We spend a lot of time talking to local contractors and making sure the cement bags get to where they're supposed to go. Sometimes the power goes out, or the rain makes the roads a bit muddy, but we manage just fine. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows each other. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just have a few guys who know the cement trade. It is a simple operation and we like it that way. No need to make things more complicated than they are. We just show up, do the work, and go home. That’s life here in Kumarpara for our team.
