A. K. Sircar Sons

A. K. Sircar Sons is on the ground floor of the Commercial Building at number 23 on Netaji Subhash Road. Specifically, we are in unit number 6. This part of town is always packed with people and cars, so it’s never really quiet around the office. The building has been here for ages and definitely shows its age, but it works fine for what we do. We have been running things from this spot for a long time, and it’s mostly a family affair. You’ll usually see the same two or three of us behind the counter every single day. Having a big fancy lobby isn't part of the setup. It’s mostly just shelves filled with stock and some old wooden desks for paperwork. Advertising isn't something we do much of. Most of our customers are people who have been coming here for years or folks who heard about us from a neighbor. The traffic on Netaji Subhash Road is constant, so the sound of horns is just part of the background. Mornings are for checking what came in and the rest of the day is for getting orders ready. It’s a lot of manual work and we stay pretty busy until closing. We don’t try to act like we’re a big corporation. We’re just a local shop trying to do things the right way and keep the business moving.
