We have been here in Sankrail Howrah for quite some time now. Dealing with cement is what the day looks like for most of us here. It gets dusty, and the trucks come in and out all day long, especially in the mornings when things are busiest. We have a lot of people from around the neighborhood working inside the gates. It’s a big site, but we mostly just focus on getting the bags loaded and keeping the machinery running without too many breakdowns. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, like when it rains heavily and the ground gets muddy, but we manage to keep things moving. We don't really do anything fancy here, just basic work. The gate is easy to find if you're coming down the main road in Sankrail. Most people around here know where we are because of the noise and the lorries. We eat our lunch together near the office area, usually just talking about the day or what needs fixing next. It's a steady job for most of the guys. We try to keep things organized, though it can get a bit chaotic when there are too many orders at once. You learn to live with the dust. It’s just how it is working at a plant like this. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the work we do stays pretty much the same day in and day out.
