Bharat Hitech (cements) Pvt. Ltd.

Bharat Hitech is based out of Gandhi House. We are up on the fourth floor. It’s one of those older buildings where you can feel the history in the walls. We deal with cement, so there is always talk about construction and building sites around the office. The fourth floor gives us a decent view of the street below, though the windows could probably use a wash. We aren't a huge corporation with glass walls and fancy suits. We are just a group of people who know a lot about the building trade. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at supply schedules. It gets pretty hectic during the peak building season. The stairs are a bit steep, but we have the lift for the heavy stuff. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. Everyone in the building knows us. We share news with the other tenants in the hallway. It’s a practical place to work. We keep our files in big metal cabinets and our desks are usually covered in site maps and notes. It’s not glamorous, but it is what we do. We show up every morning, drink our coffee, and get to work making sure the cement gets to where it’s supposed to be. It’s a lot of logistics and talking to drivers, really. We just keep our heads down and finish the paperwork.
