Ultratech Cement Ltd

Our spot is in Kolkata at 101 B Sunny Tower on Ashutosh Chaudhary Avenue. It’s right there in the middle of things, 700019 area. We handle the Ultratech Cement Ltd side of things from this office. It’s a decent building, easy enough to find if you’re coming down the main road. Most days, we’re just sitting here at the desks answering calls and looking over order forms. We’ve been at this for a while and the routine doesn't change much. We see a lot of the same people coming in to check on their supplies. Kolkata can be a bit chaotic with the rain and the roads, so logistics takes up a lot of our thinking time. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just moving cement from one place to another and making sure the records match. The staff knows the area well, so if a driver gets lost, we can usually guide them in over the phone. It’s a lot of practical stuff, like checking stock and talking to the site managers. Sometimes the lift in the tower is slow, so we get a bit of exercise on the stairs. We just try to get the bags delivered on time so people can finish their houses. It’s a regular job in a regular part of the city. No big corporate meetings, just us trying to keep the supply chain moving without too much fuss. We've got a small balcony where we sometimes take a break to look at the traffic.
