Ubs Hospitality Private Limited sits over at 39 Rabindranath Tagore Road in the Bedipara area of Dumdum. It’s a busy part of Kolkata, especially with the airport and the train station not too far off. We have been here for some time now, just managing the day-to-day things that come with the hospitality trade. The building at Bedipara is where we handle all our operations. It isn't a very large setup, but it works for what we need. You can usually find one of us sorting through files or talking on the phone with suppliers. The road outside can get quite loud with the buses and autos constantly passing by. We have learned to work through the noise over the years. We don't have a fancy marketing team or a lot of big ideas about changing the world. We just want to make sure the rooms are clean and the people staying with us have what they need for the night. Sometimes we run out of something or a light bulb flickers, and we just go and fix it. That is how we operate. We just focus on doing a solid day’s work and heading home. The Kolkata heat can be a bit much in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. It’s a simple business run by people who know the Dumdum area well and just want to keep things moving along. Every morning we open up and check the schedule.
