Tiger Inn Hotel

Tiger Inn Hotel is tucked away at 10/C, near New Park Street on Circus Avenue. This part of Kolkata has a rhythm of its own, and we have been part of it for a while now. The building is older, and you have to walk down a bit of a side path to find our entrance. Inside, it is usually a bit dark, which helps keep the temperature down during those hot Kolkata summers. We have heavy wooden tables and chairs that don't match perfectly, but they do the job. The kitchen is tucked in the back, and you can always hear the clinking of ladles and the hiss of the pans. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy menu. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or travelers who stumbled upon us while exploring Circus Avenue. The walls have a few old pictures on them, and the ceiling fans hum loudly all day long. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to rely on the natural light from the windows. It is a busy place, especially around dinner time. We do everything ourselves, from buying the ingredients to serving the plates. It is a simple life, and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. We just want to offer a place where you can sit down and have a meal in peace. It’s not anything out of the ordinary, just our way of making a living in this city.
