The Study Point

The Study Point is located in the 700081 area of Kolkata. It is a pretty straightforward place to find once you are in the neighborhood. We have been working out of this space for a while now, and it has become a bit like a second home to us. The room has plenty of desks and a few whiteboards that have seen a lot of use over the terms. We don't have a big marketing team or any shiny brochures to hand out. Mostly, people just hear about us from their friends or neighbors who live nearby. It is a simple operation. I usually arrive in the afternoon to get everything ready for the day. Sometimes the chairs need a bit of a wipe down because of the city dust. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it is relatively quiet compared to the main roads, which helps when you are trying to concentrate. We have a small corner where we keep some drinking water and a few extra notebooks for anyone who forgets theirs. It is not a corporate office by any means. There are often stacks of papers on the main table that need to be graded or sorted through. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the lights stay on and the fans are spinning. It is a very local, small-scale way of doing things. We like being part of the community and seeing familiar faces every week.
