The Senator Hotel

If you walk down Camac Street, you’ll find us at number 15. This is a very busy part of the area, and The Senator Hotel sits right in the middle of it all. The zip code is 700017, and honestly, the traffic around here never really seems to stop during the day. We’ve got a building that has seen a lot of years go by. It has some character, though maybe not the kind you see in those glossy magazines. We spend our days checking people in, helping with bags, and making sure the kitchen is running like it should. It’s a lot of walking up and down the halls for the staff. The elevator can be a bit slow when the building is full of guests, but it gets you where you need to go eventually. We aren't some high-end luxury spot with gold-plated fixtures everywhere. We’re just a hotel where the staff might even learn your name if you stay with us for a few days. We deal with the usual city stuff like dusty windows and the sound of horns from the street. Most of us who work here live close by or take the bus in every morning. We start early and often finish late at night. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just want the rooms to be ready when someone arrives tired from their travels. Camac Street has a lot of energy, and we just try to keep up with it.
