Tarak Marine

Tarak Marine is located over on Strand Road, up on the third floor of Plot No-40/2. It’s a busy area with all the vehicles and people moving around near the water. The climb up to the third floor keeps us fit, though some days we really wish there was a faster way up when we're carrying heavy stuff. We handle marine related things, mostly parts and general help for folks in that line of work. It’s noisy outside with the traffic and the constant horns, but it’s much quieter once you get inside the office. We've got a decent view of the street from the windows. The walls are a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we don't mind it much. We’ve been at this for some time now. There isn't any big management team here, just us making sure the orders are right and the paperwork is done correctly. Sometimes we have hot tea brought in from the stall downstairs. It’s a small operation. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or big ads. Most people just know we’re here on the third floor and they come up when they have business to discuss. It’s practical work. We deal with a lot of shipping people and suppliers. Every day is a bit different depending on what’s happening at the port or on the river. We just try to keep things moving along without making a big fuss about the whole process.
