Hydraulic Syndicate

If you walk down Robert Street, you’ll find us on the ground floor at number 26. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the parts we keep in stock. There’s always a faint smell of hydraulic fluid in the air, which I guess is just part of the job when you work with this kind of stuff every day. We spend most of our mornings sorting through bins and checking seals for wear and tear. It’s dusty work but someone has to do it. The street outside is usually loud with people passing by, but we stay focused on what’s on the workbench. We have a few old desks where we keep the receipts and the phone, and they are usually covered in some kind of grime from the shop floor. It’s just how it is when you’re fixing things. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come in, one of us will just look up from whatever we are doing and talk to you. We’ve been in this building for a long time and the walls could probably tell some stories. We use a lot of hand tools and our fingers are usually stained black by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a group of guys who understand how these systems work. It’s simple, honest work and we keep the doors open from Monday to Saturday.
