Swastik Coaching Center

At 16 Simla Street, near Beadon Street, you will find Swastik Coaching Center. This part of Kolkata is always crowded, and our center is right in the middle of all that activity. The building is one of those old ones with high ceilings and thick walls. We have been using these rooms for coaching for quite a few years now. Inside, there are several rows of desks. They are old and have some scratches on them from years of use by different students. We don't have air conditioning, but the ceiling fans work well enough to keep the air moving. During the rainy season, the dampness gets into the walls, but we try to keep things as clean as we can. Our daily schedule is pretty much the same every week. We open up in the morning for some older students and then again in the late afternoon for the younger ones. There is a tea stall nearby where we get our snacks during the breaks. The students often sit there for a bit before their classes start. We don't use any special methods or complicated software. We just sit down with the books and go through the lessons. If a student doesn't understand something, we explain it again until they do. It is a very normal, local setup. We don’t have a big office or a reception area. People just walk in and talk to us directly.
