Sun Security Services

If you look for us, we are at 138, Jeliapara, right on B.T. Road in Khardah. We are directly opposite the Allahabad Bank, so it’s easy to find even when the traffic is heavy. Sun Security Services is a small operation. We have a front room where we meet people and a back area where we store things like torches and whistles. The noise from B.T. Road is constant, so we usually have to keep the door shut. It’s not a fancy setup. We have some plastic chairs for visitors and an old wooden table where we do the accounting. Most of our day is spent talking to people who need a bit of help with their building security. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just try to make sure our staff shows up on time and does what they are supposed to do. Khardah is a place where everyone kind of knows each other, so we try to keep things friendly. Sometimes the internet is slow and we can’t send emails, so we just pick up the phone. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time worrying about the weather, especially during the monsoon when B.T. Road gets flooded. That’s the reality of running a business here.
