Sudhalok Consultants Llp is located at 42 Vivekananda Road. If you know Kolkata, you know this area gets pretty packed during the day. We’ve been operating out of this spot for some time now. It’s an old-school kind of place, really. We do consulting work, which basically means people come to us with problems and we try to find a way through them. There are about five or six of us in the office regularly. The fans are always humming because the heat in West Bengal doesn't really let up. We don’t have a big marketing department or a shiny website. Most of our work comes from people just knowing where we are on the road. It’s a straightforward setup. We have files piled up on the desks and a couple of old chairs for visitors. We drink a lot of tea while we look over documents. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to close the windows, even if it gets a bit stuffy. 700007 is a busy pin code. We deal with various local businesses and help them sort out their legal or financial bits. It is just steady work. No one here wears a suit unless they absolutely have to for a meeting. We just like to get things finished so we can head home on time. It's not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week and we are fine with that.
