Study Lab Tutoring

Study Lab Tutoring is situated on Dum Dum Road. Most people find us by looking for Basanti Sweets, as we are right near there. It’s a busy part of Dum Dum, but our little space is tucked away enough that it stays fairly quiet for the students. We’ve been here in the 700028 area for a few years. The idea was just to have a lab-like environment where kids could experiment with their learning, but it’s really just a couple of rooms with some sturdy tables and chairs. I spend a lot of time here, often from early morning until late evening. We get all sorts of students, some who are struggling and some who just want to stay ahead. We don't do big lectures. It’s more about sitting down one-on-one or in small groups and working through the problems together. The street noise outside is just part of the background now. We usually take a break and someone might go grab something from the sweet shop nearby. It is a very local operation. We don't have a big management team or anything like that. It’s just me and a couple of others who know the subjects well. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. No big promises, just hard work on the books. It feels good to see the students finally understand a difficult topic after trying.
