Study Care

Study Care is over in Uttar Durganagar. If you know this part of Kolkata - 700079, you know it is mostly houses and small shops. Our place is tucked away where it stays mostly quiet, except for when the kids are coming and going. We have been here for a few years now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the roof just fine. Inside, there are a lot of books piled up on the shelves. Some are new and some have been around since we first opened the doors. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and someone will be there at the main table working. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because there is always some dust blowing in from the road. I like the light we get in the mornings. It makes the space feel bigger than it actually is. We have a small area for bags and umbrellas near the entrance. Sometimes we run out of water in the cooler, so we have to go fill it up at the tap nearby. It is just a basic place where people come to focus on their notes. No one wears suits here. We just wear what is comfortable and get to it. It feels like a neighborhood spot because that is exactly what it is. We are just part of the daily life in Uttar Durganagar.
