Students Guide

We are located on Haroa Road in Kolkata. It's a busy part of town and sometimes the noise from the street comes right through the windows. Students Guide has been here for a while now. We have a few rooms with tables and chairs where students sit to get through their work. It isn't a fancy place with new carpets or anything like that. The fans hum all day to keep things cool because it gets quite hot in this part of Kolkata. Most of us who work here live nearby so we walk or take a rickshaw. You'll usually see a bunch of bicycles parked out front in the afternoons. We handle a lot of different subjects. Some kids come in for help with math and others are just here to read quietly. It’s a bit messy sometimes with papers and books everywhere but we know where everything is. The 700135 area is a good place to be. We see the same faces every day. Parents stop by to chat about how their kids are doing. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find someone. It’s a practical setup. We try to keep things simple because that’s what works for the students. Some days are busier than others especially right before exam season starts up again. We just do what we can to help the local kids get through their lessons. It is just a normal daily routine.
