Students Corner

Students Corner is located over in Keshtopur, right by the Barowaritala area. If you know that part of Kolkata, you know it’s a lively spot with a lot of movement. We’re tucked into the 700102 zip code, and our place is pretty easy to find if you’re familiar with the local landmarks. The center itself is humble. We have a few rooms where students can come to sit and study or get some guidance on their schoolwork. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when a lot of kids show up at once, but we make it work. We have old wooden desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The staff here are just regular people who live around Keshtopur. We talk to the students like they are our own family, sometimes being a bit strict and sometimes just listening to their problems. It’s a very local feel here. It’s been our daily life for quite some time now, and we’re used to the rhythm of the neighborhood and the needs of the families nearby.
