Stesalit Ltd

Stesalit Ltd is located at 30, Ashutosh Chatterjee Road in Kolkata. It’s an older part of the city, postcode 700031. The street is typical of Kolkata—narrow, a bit crowded, and full of character. Our building has seen a lot of years. It’s not one of those new glass towers in Salt Lake or Rajarhat. Instead, it has thick walls and high ceilings that help keep things a bit cooler during the humid summers. There’s a rhythm to the neighborhood that we’ve become a part of. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long, from the honking of the yellow taxis to the chatter of people walking by. Our office is a busy place. We’ve got desks squeezed into the rooms and shelves piled high with ledgers and documents. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We like the location because it feels connected to the heart of the city. There is a small tea shop just a few doors down where we often go to clear our heads. The stairs in the building are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it’s home for us. We don't focus on looking polished. We just focus on the work that needs to be finished before the day ends. It’s a very straightforward, no-nonsense kind of place to be for those of us who work here.
