Symantec

Our office is over at 6/B Heysham Road in Kolkata. It’s a decent area, quite central really. We’ve been set up here for some time now, dealing with all the tech stuff that comes our way. The building isn't anything too flashy, just a place where we sit with our computers and try to get things sorted for the day. Most of us here have been working in this field for years, so it’s become second nature. We deal with security and software issues, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes when things don't go as planned. People usually find us easily enough because 700020 is a well-known pin code around here. We don't have big meetings with lots of jargon. Usually, it's just us drinking coffee and looking at screens. It gets humid in Kolkata, so we’re thankful for the fans and the air conditioning when it works. The street outside can get a bit noisy with the traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of typing. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we’re just keeping the systems running and making sure the data stays where it’s supposed to. It’s regular office work, really. Some days the internet is slow, and we just have to wait it out. That’s just how it goes for us at Symantec. We like the neighborhood, there are some good places to grab lunch nearby and we’ve become quite used to the daily grind here.
