Lancer Project

We run Lancer Project from 27/3/1, Bidhan Nagar Road. It’s right there in the 700067 area of Kolkata. We’ve been here for a bit, handling various types of project work. It’s hard to describe exactly what we do in one word because we take on a lot of different things depending on what's needed. Sometimes it’s construction-related, other times it’s more about coordination and planning. The office is a basic room with a few desks and a lot of maps and charts on the walls. It’s not a place where we entertain guests with fancy coffee or anything. It’s more for getting the actual work done. I spend about half my time out at sites and the other half here trying to get the schedules to line up. Managing people and materials is a bit of a headache sometimes, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate or a truck gets stuck in traffic. That happens a lot in this city, and you just have to learn to be patient. We have a small crew that has been together for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in town; we just want to finish the jobs we started properly. My phone is usually ringing off the hook, but I try to get back to everyone by the end of the day if I can. If you come by, you’ll probably see a lot of activity and maybe some dust. It’s just the nature of what we do. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy to get to different parts of the city.
