This is a very old and established part of the city. The mezzanine floor can be a little tricky to find if you aren't used to the layout of HMP House, but it’s just a short flight of steps up. Our office is a modest one. We do various types of consulting work here. It’s often quite busy because of the location. We have a lot of documents and books around the place. The ceilings are a bit low since it is a mezzanine level, but it feels cozy once you are settled in. We spend our days mostly working through client files and answering the phone. There is a lot of history in this building, and you can feel it in the hallways. We don’t have a big reception area or anything, just a desk near the door where someone usually sits. Most of our staff have been with us for years. It’s a very grounded sort of place. We don’t use much fancy talk, just plain English and hard work to get things finished. Being in West Bengal, we get all sorts of weather, and the thick walls of HMP House keep it fairly cool. We just keep things moving along steadily.
