Southern Plaza Hotel

We are located over at 73 Southern Ave, right where Sarat Bose Road is. It’s a well-known corner in the 700029 area. The hotel has been here for a bit, and we just try to keep things tidy for whoever stays with us. Living and working on Southern Ave means there's always something going on outside. We get travelers and people just passing through Kolkata. It's not a complicated place to find. We are just a building on a street where people live and work. We don't have those big corporate speeches or missions. We just make sure the rooms are ready and the doors are unlocked. Sarat Bose Road can get pretty packed during rush hour, but inside it’s usually alright. We see a lot of people coming in with suitcases or just looking for a place to rest for a night or two. It’s a straightforward job, really. We look after the building and the people who come through. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s something happening in the city. We’ve gotten to know the neighbors around Southern Ave quite well over the years. It’s a good neighborhood to be in. We just stick to our routine and make sure things are running the way they should be. It’s a local business and we treat it that way, nothing more, nothing less. We just keep our heads down and work. It's what we do.
