Dew Jobs

We are located right on Satin Sen Road over in Sodpur. It is a busy street, so there is always noise from the rickshaws and people passing by outside our windows. The office itself is quite small and filled with desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to overflow with resumes and papers. We spend most of our day on the phone or sitting across from people who are looking for a new start. It’s not a very quiet job because the fan overhead makes a clicking sound and the door is always opening and closing. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a little messy with folders piled up on every available surface. There is a tea stall just around the corner where we usually go when we need a break from the computer screens. Sodpur is a good place to be, even if the traffic on Satin Sen Road can be a headache in the afternoons. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and a few notes taped up to remind us of deadlines. It is just a handful of us working here, trying to keep track of who is hiring and who needs a job. We don’t do anything flashy, just the basic daily work of matching people with positions that might fit them. It gets tiring but it is what we do.
