Slavati Consultancy is situated on the third floor of Kiran Apartment, which is at 15/A Jessore Road in the Hridaypur area of Barasat. It’s a busy road, so there’s always something happening outside the window. We’re an One Person Company, though that doesn't mean it's always just one person sitting there; we have our ways of getting things done. The office is a practical space where we handle different types of consultancy work. Being in Barasat, we’re a bit on the outskirts of Kolkata, but Jessore Road keeps us connected to everything. We spend our mornings going through emails and our afternoons usually involve meetings or more detailed desk work. It’s not a fancy corporate suite with leather chairs. It’s a working office with stacks of files and a few plants that we sometimes forget to water. We try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone who walks in. We don’t see the point in using big words when simple ones work better. Most of what we do involves helping people navigate the steps they need for their own projects or businesses. It can be a bit tedious at times, especially with all the forms and filings, but we’re used to it. The third-floor view gives us a bit of a break from the street noise. We just show up, do the work, and try to be helpful. It’s a decent place to spend the day.
