Siksha Niketan

Our place, Siksha Niketan, is situated over in Dakshineswar. Specifically, we are on D D Mondal Ghat Road. It is a busy area because of the 700076 location and the proximity to the river and the temples. People come through here all the time, especially during the festivals. We aren't a big fancy school with a huge campus, just a building on the road where we do our thing. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a good spot for what we do. The noise from the street sometimes drifts in, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We see a lot of people from the local community stopping by. The Ghat road is always full of life, which makes working here interesting. Sometimes it's hard to find parking nearby, but that's just Kolkata for you. We just focus on the daily tasks and helping the people who come in. It’s a simple setup with a lot of history in the bricks. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just a local spot in Dakshineswar where people come when they need to. It’s honest work and we stay busy with it most days of the week, morning till night.
