Our office is at 22B, Cockler Lane, right off Sarat Bose Road in Kolkata. It’s a quiet enough street, tucked away near Southern Ave and just opposite Nazrul Mancha. We have been operating as Sienna Engineers for quite some time now. Engineering isn't really about glamorous stuff; it’s mostly about making sure things are structurally sound and that the technical details are actually correct. We spend a lot of our time looking at site reports and checking calculations over and over again. The office is usually filled with the sound of fans and people typing away or arguing over a specific measurement. We are a private limited company, but the vibe here is much more like a small family business where everyone knows what the other person is doing. We don’t go in for big marketing speeches or anything. We just take on the projects that come our way and try to do a solid job on them. Sometimes we’re out at sites in the humidity, and other times we’re stuck in the office dealing with paperwork that never seems to end. It’s just part of the daily routine here in Kolkata. Being near the park and the lake area is nice for a quick walk when the work gets a bit too heavy. We just keep our heads down and focus on the engineering. We are not interested in sounding fancy, we just want to get the measurements and the structures right for every project we take on.
