Comvent Engineering

Our workshop is located at Plot No.79, Block-Ge, 1864 on Rajdanga Main Road. Comvent Engineering is basically a small team of us working out of this space. The area gets quite busy, being on the main road and all. We've got our equipment set up and most of our day is spent dealing with technical specs and mechanical parts. It’s a lot of hands-on work. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or metal shavings, no matter how much we try to sweep. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back near the machines. It’s loud sometimes, so we have to shout over the noise. We’ve been at this Rajdanga location for a good stretch of time. The tea shop at the corner knows our order by heart. It’s simple work but it requires a lot of attention. Engineering isn't always pretty, but we like the logic of it. We just take one job at a time and see it through. Not many people realize how much goes into the small parts we make. We just stay here and keep the wheels turning. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we’d rather spend the money on better tools. We keep our schedules on a big whiteboard that's mostly smudged now. That is just how we run things.
