You can find us at 32/1, Rishi Aurobinda Sarani, over in the Kolkata-700 090 area. This is the office of Asit Baran Saha, and it’s a typical North Kolkata setting. The buildings here are old and have a lot of character, even if the plaster is peeling in a few places. Our workspace is on a street that gets quite busy with pedestrians and rickshaws throughout the day. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with stacks of drawings and technical manuals piled on almost every flat surface. We don't have a modern reception area or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone hunched over a desk working on a consultancy project. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and we know the tea seller and the stationery shop owner down the street very well. The ceiling fans are always on, humming in the background while we work. It’s the kind of place where things move at a steady pace. We don't rush around like they do in the newer parts of the city. We take our time to get the details right. Sometimes the noise from the street can be a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. It’s just the sound of the city. We’re happy staying here in this old part of town.
